Next Generation Radiation Monitor (NGRM)

Next Generation Radiation Monitor (NGRM) is a general purpose radiation monitor devoted for detection of electrons, protons and heavy ions. It was developed by Thales Alenia Space Switzerland (former RUAG Space) with cooperation of Paul Scherrer Institute as European Space Agency (ESA) project. Proto-Flight Model of NGRM will be launched in 2019 on board of EDRS-C.

NGRM is successor of ESA Standard Radiation Monitor (SREM) successfully launched on STRV-1c, Proba-1, Integral, Rosetta, Giove-B, Herschel and Planck missions since the ‘90-ties.
